Update: Motorola is testing Android 5.1 Lollipop for the Moto X (2014) and has posted a detailed changelog on its customer support site. You can hit the link to see the full changelog but you’d already be pretty familiar with it from our list of changes in Android 5.1 Lollipop, including a setting for no notifications until your next alarm and early downtime, tons of new animations and transitions, additional Quick Settings, Device Protection and improvements to the camera.
To check and see if you have the soak test waiting for you, head to Settings > About Phone > System Update. If you don’t have the update already I’ll remind you that a soak test only goes out to a very small number of people before the larger OTA rollout is dispersed to everyone. As usual, unlocked Moto X (2014) owners will get the update first with carrier locked versions to follow.
